Warranty Policy

For products manufactured and installed by BBVM Pty Ltd, we offer a 12 month warranty on all decals, wrap and other signage products.

Our warranty covers all defects in materials and installation. This includes full replacement of failed materials, removal, and installation.

This warranty does not cover damage to the wrap or graphics from negligence, misuse, accidents, road damage, wear and tear, or any failure not of product, installation or materials.

This warranty does not cover warrantable failures due to pre-existing damage to the substrate applied to. This warranty does not cover a warrantable failure in the event that the client chooses to keep any/all emblems on a vehicle and to have them wrapped over.

All claims must be made within the 12 month warranty time frame and are subject to approval by BBVM Pty Ltd.

Materials used in warranty repairs will carry the same warranty coverage as the materials they replace, but the expiration dates will be the same as those of the original materials.

Surfaces with compound areas may may be beyond the wrapping capabilities of the available materials and therefore excluded from this warranty. Compound areas include such areas as deep recesses, deep channeling and severe ridges that cannot be wrapped due to the realistic capabilities of the materials. Any ‘compound areas’ will be noted by BBVM Pty Ltd in consultation with the client prior to the job beginning.

Expected Durability

Expected durability is the expected period of time defined in the product data sheet, the product should, but is not warranted to, perform satisfactorily when applied in vertical exposure conditions.

Non-vertical (eg. Angled caravan fronts or areas that aren’t 100% vertical) can and will wear faster when exposed to Sun on a prolonged and daily basis. For maximum life expectancy, we recommend parking undercover and/or covering vehicle to protect it from UV degradation. Prolonged dirt and grime left on vinyl will decrease life expectancy. Care should be taken to ensure vinyl is kept clean as much as possible.

Product performance life will also depend on a variety of other factors, including selection and preparation of substrate, application methods, environmental conditions and cleaning/maintenance of the films. In the case of films used in areas of high temperatures or humidity, high altitudes and industrially polluted areas the performance will be further reduced.

External fitting issues

When instructed by Caravan Manufacturers to install decals before the caravan is fully complete and external fittings have been installed, Vinyl Media takes no responsibly for damage caused by other works carried out after decals have been installed. This includes damage to decals as fittings are installed, and reduction in life expectancy of decals when vinyl adhesive hasn’t had time to cure before external fittings are installed, and/or sufficient care is not taken when installing and cleaning external fittings. We will not take responsibility for cleaning fluids or solvents wicking behind the decals and reducing the effectiveness of the vinyl adhesive.
